About the Teams
We are looking for kind people who have expertise in graphic design, digital marketing, technology and membership campaigning and have time to assist with our goals of building a strong advocacy for green spaces on the Peninsula. We are five teams that cover: Environment: The Environment team is building the case for preserving green space. It is concerned with storm water, erosion, preserving bird life and other endangered species. [email protected] Communications: The Communications team is producing regular media releases, engaging in dialogue with Auckland Council and other stakeholders and social media. They also manage the membership program. KWGS needs to build a war chest that will fund the actions that we need to take to secure green space zones. Protecting the current Golf Course zoning is likely to involve legal action as we fight corporate interests that are intent on converting green spaces to residential and commercial zones.
